Majesty & Glory of God

G-O-D, God - What thoughts pop into your mind at the very mentioning of the name - God? Maybe you consider the many names by which God has revealed himself to mankind that bring to light His character, or it could be that you think of the many awesome acts that God has performed before mankind that display His greatness. Still more, bringing up the name of God may conjure up the words or commands He has relayed to us in the Bible. Whether one or all of these things come to mind along with a possible myriad of other thoughts, any contemplations, no matter how small or great, no doubt invokes a sense of supreme reverence, awe, and praise from our hearts. In the light of dwelling upon God, we become very humbled in our estimation of ourselves and any so-called accomplishments.

Certainly, there is none and no one like our God. God is God alone in HIs person, position and power! He shares His glory with no other person or thing. All are subservient to God, and so much so that nothing comes anywhere close to rivaling God in any respect. He occupies a category all to Himself! God is God and there is none else!!

God alone is the Creator, Redeemer and Sovereign. He only is eternal, immortal and the all-wise God. Therefore, stand in awe and sin not as you stop to often dwell on the wonder of God and the God-head!

Deuteronomy 4:39 Know therefore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the Lord he is God in heaven above, and upon the earth beneath: there is none else.
