Good News Baptist Church is a place where people are introduced to the Lord Jesus, discipled to follow Christ, and encouraged to share the Savior's love. The glory of God is our highest goal as we greet one another each week, serve one another fervently, pray one for another continually, and exhort one another lovingly. The teaching & preaching of the Word of God (the Bible) is front and center (2 Timothy 4:2). That teaching includes our music as we are instructed to "let the word of Christ dwell in us richly, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns, and spiritual songs" (Colossians 3:16). It is our goal to sing with understanding and believe a conservative approach of singing the hymns (old and new) best promotes worship of God in spirit and in truth & prepares the heart and mind for receiving the preaching. A typical service will last about 60 minutes. There is childcare available.  Please plan to hang around after the service for fellowship and meeting new people to receive godly encouragement.
