Family Maintenance

  The home as ordained by God ought to radiate with love, concern, care, respect, happiness, and so many more positive qualities. Why all the discord and dysfunction? As in all relationships of life there are complexities that require a lot of time and effort to develop and maintain. Construction nor deterioration of sound family ties happen overnight, but with days, months and years of careful attention or woeful neglect.
  It is worth the energy expended to constantly care and stay connected to each family member with up-to-date communication. The lines of communication must remain open with our Lord, and then with each other in the family circle. Words spoken in the right way and at the right time will generate transparency and trust.
