Are you ready to stand before a holy, righteous, omniscient God? Nothing escapes His sight and knowledge, for as the Bible states in Proverbs 15:3 "The eyes of the Lord are in every place, Beholding the evil and the good.” Furthermore, God makes it clear that "Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do" (Hebrews 4:13).Therefore, as nothing escapes His keen awareness, so no one escapes His certain judgment. Either the Judgment Seat of Christ or the Great White Throne Judgment is on the horizon, for in Hebrews 9:27 it says, "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:” The former judgment is for the believers in Jesus Christ from Pentecost to the Rapture as a way to award saints for service for their Lord and Savior (1 Corinthians 3:11-15; 2 Corinthians 5:10). The latter judgment is reserved for all the unbelievers of all ages whose names are “ . . . not found written in the book of life . . .” (Revelation 20:11-15).
Thus, for the saved their is a matter for great rejoicing that their names are in the Lamb’s book of life, never to have it blotted out. It is written with indelible ink! The saved have a place reserved for them in Heaven (1 Peter 1:4-5). Heaven is a place where “ . . .there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away” (Revelation 21:4). On the other hand, much sorrow of heart is reserved for the unsaved that persist in sin, for they “ . . . shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on [them]” (John 3:36). Only death, the second death, that being eternal separation from God in outer darkness that yields eternal punishment will be the eternal destination of the unsaved in the Lake of fire (Revelation 20:15; Matthew 25:41).
". . . Now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation” (2 Corinthians 6:2). Do not delay in accepting by faith the Lord Jesus as the only one that can rescue you from your sin and its consequences. Listen to Jesus in John 5:24 where He says, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” For all the saved, “let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity” (2 Timothy 2:19), and “serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear” (Hebrews 12:28).
