O What a Day That Will Be Part 1

  "This world is not my home; I'm just a passing through. My treasures are laid up somewhere beyond the blue." Our travel through this life will yield, for the Christian pilgrim and stranger as citizens of Heaven, a bright future. Everything will be new and enduring in the glory land, our final destination!
Philippians 3:21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

  New eyes with which to take in all the wonder and splendor of the celestial city's beauty. The many hues cast by the variegated gems will be captured by perfect vision. Above all, to see our Savior face to face and behold the nail-scared hands.
1 John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

  New ears for receiving the magnificent rush of sound flowing from the Heavenly choir of angels. Ah, but more than all this, to hear the "well done" of our Savior from His very lips!
Matthew 25:21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, / will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

  New voices with which to join the angel-band in glorious harmony. No more being off-key, off-pitch, or off-time. In perfect unison we will sing our great Redeemer's praise!
Revelation 5:9 ... sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy... for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
